Expanding OEM Audio Systems, Made Easy
Leveraging technology from the popular PAC45 series, PS Engineering is announcing the release of the CTL-G Comm Expander audio system.
“Adding additional transceivers (FM/TAC) to an OEM aircraft can require removal and replacement of the factory audio system and that isn’t an easy task. Normally, the labor associated is a deterrent for most avionics shops, but with the CTL-G audio system, this anxiety will be drastically reduced”
The CTL-G (with remote mount HUB45R), supports:
- Single or dual crew CTL-G control heads
- Cabin mission control head
- Independent FM/TAC volume controls for all inputs
- Separate ICS & Master Radio Volume
- USB-C 15W enhanced charger
- MultiTalker® dimensional sound (HRTF)
- Stereo IntelliVox® Intercom
- Music input for XM audio
- TXI - Intercom stays active during radio transmission
- RXI- Com indication flashes when audio is active
- PTT Key indication with 35 second stuck mic disconnect
- Simulcast - transmit on multiple comms at the same time
- Artificial Transmit Sidetone
- Illuminated selection indications for front panel user controls, NVIS optional
- Bluetooth® for cellular telephone and audio streaming
- Pilot remote hands-free comm swap
- Four unswitched inputs with volume adjustments
- Three field programmable custom alerts including separate cabin call alert
- Provides panel power for ANR headset, no additional breaker required
- Field configuration, no laptops or dongles required
- 2 Year Warranty
The CTL-G audio system will work with any factory audio panel and with no impact to existing integrated wiring. Multiple CTL-G control heads can be used where dual audio panel configurations exist.
PS Engineering is expecting FAA-TSO in the second quarter of 2025 with the first shipments coming soon after.
To receive more information, see the PS Engineering team at booth 331 (AEA Dallas). Also, learn more about the CTL-G audio system during our training class on Thursday at 8:30am.
